Brentwood accountants MJ Bushell celebrate exam success

Four accountants at Brentwood-based firm MJ Bushell have passed important examinations, as part of their studies towards prestigious professional qualifications.

Georgina Trembling, Matt Bain, Lydia Gould and Will Fisher have been congratulated by their colleagues at the accountancy firm for completing the difficult tests required to take the next steps in their careers.

Georgina and Matt are both studying towards the ACA qualification, accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), and have passed the last of their professional level exams. They are now ACA finalists and have just three Advanced level papers to pass before they will be fully qualified Chartered Accountants.

Meanwhile, Lydia has passed an AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) exam and is hoping, subject to the AAT restarting their exam programme, to finish the rest of her Level 4 qualification this year.

Her fellow AAT trainee, Will, has also passed an important exam paper and is now a fully qualified AAT.

Kevin Fisher, Director at MJ Bushell, said: “We are delighted to celebrate the success of our staff. Although we are successfully adapting to the current crisis, it is good to see that life and professional careers can continue despite the disruption we all face.

“At a time when the world is dominated by such negative news, these four hard-working members of our team have shown that they have the determination to succeed. By acquiring these new skills and qualifications they will be able to provide more support to local businesses now and in the future.”

MJ Bushell has a long track record of supporting trainee accountants, including graduates and school leavers, to enjoy a career in accountancy.

Its dedication to training and support has helped dozens of professionals and it is why it continues to recruit the best and the brightest candidates.

“We can only deliver exceptional services to our clients if we have the right team, with the right skills, which is why we place such an emphasis on career development and training,” added Kevin.
