M J Bushell Director training hard to tackle London Marathon next month

M J Bushell Director Dan Sayers is hard at work training to tackle the 2018 London Marathon next month.

Since last year, Dan has been out running as regularly as possible in a bid to prepare for the notoriously difficult challenge.

In recent weeks, he has been pushing himself to complete regular routes of anywhere up to 14 miles per run.

These taxing routes have taken him through Brickkiln Wood near South Ockenden, across Aveley and more.

Dan has also ran across Tower Hamlets, Stratford and other areas on the outskirts of Central London as part of his training.

The big day falls on Sunday 22 April 2018 – and Dan is hoping that his efforts will help to raise a tidy sum of money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

“I’ve set myself a fundraising target of £2,000 – but I’m hoping that, with the help of friends, family and M J Bushell’s clients, I’ll be able to raise even more,” he said.

Maps of some of Dan’s most recent routes have been included below.
