In recent weeks, members of staff at M J Bushell have been spending their spare time challenging local and regional businesses on the football field – and recently enjoyed yet another win.
On Friday 6 April, M J Bushell’s six-a-side team travelled to Southend-on-Sea to take on staff from Rochford recruitment firm A J Chambers – and won 6-5.
M J Bushell’s team was made up of Director Dan Sayers, Accounts Seniors Corné Von Wielligh and Joe Hersom, Semi-Senior Matthew Bain, Tax Senior Matt Warwick and Accounts Trainee Will Fisher.
Commenting on the game, which was almost too close to call, Dan Sayers said: “The guys at A J Chambers have always been a strong team, having narrowly beat us the last time we met up for a six-a-side game.
“To win 6-5 this time around is fantastic and I would like to thank all my fellow teammates for their great efforts.
“We are hoping to arrange a rematch for some time in the near future – and with any luck we’ll beat them again next time around!”
