The Rotary Club of Brentwood

Christmas is the Rotary Club of Brentwood’s busiest time and when it raises more money in four weeks than the rest of the year.  Its activities this year will include:

  • Lighting up Brentwood – Saturday 25th November 2017 – Mulled wine stall and Santa’s Grotto.
  • Billericay Christmas Market – Sunday 3rd December 2017 – Santa’s Grotto, with light refreshments while you wait.
  • Round the houses – 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 11th, 13th, 14th, 15th December – Its famous door-to-door collections.
  • High Street Static Collections – 09.00 – 16.00, 16th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd December – as stated on the tin.

They are looking for people who:

  • Would be willing to drive the minibus and pull the sleigh – experience of towing, e.g. caravan, essential – as little as one or two evenings.
  • Are willing to help collect – either on the round the houses collections or the static ones in the High Street.

As well as being a full Rotary Member they have Friends of Rotary whereby people help them at special events, such as Christmas.
